North Queensland United Netball (NQU) is a dynamic new regional netball franchise uniting six key associations across North Queensland, owned and led by Townsville City Netball Association Inc. As part of Netball Queensland’s revamped competition structure, NQU provides elite pathways for junior and senior players, offering an opportunity for local athletes to compete at the highest levels while staying connected to their home communities.

NQU is more than just netball teams—it is a movement. It’s about creating opportunity, development, and visibility for regional netballers while fostering a strong sense of community, excellence, and inclusivity.
